Up and down

I've decided not to trade any pairs with the Yen for the time being. They're just to volatile and my losses seem to be mostly trades involving the yen.
The market has been ranging for the past week or so, so I've been passing (correctly) a lot of signals. Finally got to good signals yesterday. An excellent one on Aud/Usd 4Hr which I have taken 25pips first profit on, and the second position is currently at +40 pips.
The other signal is on Nzd/Usd and is currently at +10 heading for my stop at breakeven.
I keep waiting for longer before I set my stop at breakeven, but there are an awful lot of trades that reverse and take my stop out. Maybe this is because of the rangeing market, I'm not sure, but this is why I've started using Deans conservative strategy and taking some profit from the trades.

It's been the same up-and-down story for me as well. I think it would be best to simply stop trading with this method until this ranging market finds a direction.

Got a signal today on the 4hr.

Buy Usd/Cad @ 1.1576 Currently at +38 pips, stop at breakeven.

Got my stats working too.

Had a couple of big losses on my live account.
I've not had much success really. Have got a refund.
Maybe I'm missing the point, but you can't just trade every signal LMT gives, and if you have to start analysing each signal and and using more indicators which a lot of people seem to be doing, then it's not really "low maintenance" is it, which is really what I was after. I still think manual trading is maybe the way to go, but I just have to find my own strategy. I'd like to think that it is just market conditions that have caused my losses and that there is a place for LMT in my trading.

Cheers
Simmo
